Volunteerism and Children!

I was joined by Drew Andersen who has started his own charity, Butterflies of Hope and is the face of the Million Dollar Goal for Mitochondrial Disease Research and Awareness. Here’s the link:

Sorry for the Lack of ‘Blogs’

A dad in the practice said to me yesterday, “I was wondering if anything was going around, so I got onto your website to see your blogs and it had been a long time since you blogged.” He is right. The ‘winter’ season has been so busy with sick children and families. I will make a concerted effort to try to update daily as to what’s going around.

This week has been full of: pneumonia, strep throat, viral gastroenteritis – fancy terms for vomiting and diarrhea, pink eye, flu – only 3 cases this week.

Click on the ‘Patient Care Portal’ on the bottom right of the ‘home’ page for information on each topic. Office is cranking up. I’ll be back later after office hours.
