I have been employed as a registered nurse for over 17 years. During that time, I have worked in the hospital setting in a variety of roles including, hospice, pediatric general care, and as a clinical lead, and currently in the neonatal intensive care unit. I obtained my Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) degree in August of 2022 and will be taking my certification exam shortly thereafter.
Throughout my graduate program, I have obtained a variety of clinical experiences with over 510 clinical hours. These occurred in diverse patient care settings including concierge medicine, outpatient obstetrics/gynecology, pediatric and adolescent psychiatry, outpatient pediatrics, and outpatient family practice primary care.
I am highly active in my community. I am a member of AWHONN, Phi Theta Kappa, a nursing honor society, and I also enjoy spending quality time with my family, traveling, reading, shopping, interior decorating, spin classes, and working in my garden.
I am eager to obtain a position as an advanced practice registered nurse in pediatric primary care to pursue further professional growth, continuing education, enhanced responsibility, advocacy for the profession, and role modeling.
