Energy for Life Walk CORRECTION
This Saturday is the Energy for Life Walk to help raise awareness and funds for research and treatment for Mitochondrial Disease. Your dollars will also help research for Diabetes, Autism, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Cancer. My hero, Drew Andersen was on TV this morning discussing the upcoming Walk. I’ll be on tomorrow doing the same thing! THREE DAYS AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In the segment below, WINK TV made a terrible error! Drew Andersen is not ‘recently diagnosed with Mitochondrial Disease.’ He is the surviving sibling of three children in the Andersen Family. Two have died from the disease. Drew does not have Mitochondrial Disease. The outcries that occurred after this segment aired lets Drew and his parents know how much he is loved. He is trying to raise awareness and raise funds to fight Mitochondrial Disease.
